What is Ospite Bee ?
Ospite Bee is a host-first short-term rental marketplace designed to be fair, transparent, and sustainable. We focus on reasonable fees, balanced reviews, and rewarding good guest behaviour.
How much does Ospite Bee charge ?
Ospite Bee charges a transparent 8% platform fee per completed booking. There are no hidden fees or surprise increases
Does Bee Points affect my payout ?
No. Bee Points are funded entirely by Ospite Bee’s platform fee and do not reduce the host’s listed price or payout.
How are payments handled ?
Guest payments are processed securely via Stripe. Payouts are handled according to Stripe’s standard processing timelines, Stripe handles the split of 8% commission so your money stays secure with Stripe not Ospite Bee.
How do reviews work ?
Reviews are left after a completed stay and should reflect the genuine experience. Ospite Bee may review or moderate content that violates platform rules.
Can unfair reviews be challenged ?
Ospite Bee may review, hide, or remove content that is abusive, misleading, or retaliatory. Removal is not guaranteed, but evidence is considered.
Who sets prices and house rules ?
Hosts set their own prices, availability, house rules, and cancellation policies. All terms are shown to guests before booking.
When do hosts get paid ?
Hosts are paid after a completed stay, subject to Stripe’s payout schedule and verification requirements.
Host payouts are processed after a completed stay. Payments are released approximately 24 hours after checkout, subject to Stripe processing times. This approach helps protect hosts, guests, and the platform from disputes and payment reversals.
Are there any countries not covered ?
Yes, as we use stripe we can only deal with countries that can register with Stripe, we can deal with countries not covered by Stripe as long as the banking is covered by one of the countries Stripe is connected with
Can I get damage protection ?
Yes, you can get damage protection through a link in Ospite Bee to Truvi which has a few packages that are available according to the cover you require.
Who do I communicate with for damage claims ?
You contact Truvi for each booking that you took cover for and Truvi handles the claim from start to finish

How do bookings work ?
Guests search listings, select available dates, and book directly through Ospite Bee. Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
When is my payment taken ?
Payment is taken at the time of booking unless otherwise stated on the listing.
How are payments processed ?
All payments are handled securely via Stripe. Ospite Bee does not store full card details.
What are Bee Points ?
Bee Points are Ospite Bee’s loyalty rewards. Guests earn points for positive actions such as leaving a review after a completed stay.
How do I earn Bee Points ?
You can earn Bee Points by leaving a review after your stay and by participating in future promotions offered by Ospite Bee.
How do I use Bee Points ?
Bee Points can be redeemed for discounts on future bookings made through Ospite Bee. Discounts are applied by the platform and do not affect the host’s payout.
Do Bee Points have a cash value ?
No. Bee Points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money or transferred to another user.
Can Bee Points expire ?
Bee Points may expire if an account is inactive for an extended period. Active guests retain their points.
How do reviews work ?
After a completed stay, guests can leave a review based on their genuine experience. Reviews must be honest, factual, and respectful.
When can I do a review ?
Reviews become available 48 hours after checkout to ensure fairness for both hosts and guests
What if I have an issue during my stay ?
Guests should contact the host through the platform as soon as an issue arises. If further assistance is needed, Ospite Bee support can be contacted.
What is the cancellation policy ?
Cancellation policies are set by the host and clearly displayed before booking. Guests are responsible for reviewing and agreeing to these terms.
Can I cancel my booking ?
Yes, subject to the cancellation policy chosen by the host. Any refunds are handled according to those terms.
