Our Fee Structure

For Hosts

  • 8% platform fee per completed booking
  • No monthly subscriptions
  • No listing fees
  • No penalties for good hosting

The platform fee is deducted automatically when a booking is completed.

For Guests

  • 0% platform booking fee
  • Guests pay only the price set by the host
  • No hidden service charges added at checkout

What you see is what you pay.

How Payments Work

  • Guests pay securely at the time of booking
  • Payments are processed via Stripe
  • Funds are released to hosts after the stay is completed
  • Stripe processing timelines apply

This approach protects hosts, guests, and the platform from disputes and payment reversals.

When Hosts Get Paid

Host payouts are triggered after a completed stay and processed through Stripe. This ensures:

  • Fair handling of cancellations
  • Protection against no-shows and chargebacks
  • Clear completion of the booking before payout

Cancellation Policies

Hosts choose from standardised cancellation options:

  • Flexible
  • Moderate
  • Strict

The selected cancellation policy is shown clearly before booking and applies automatically if a cancellation occurs.

Bee Points & Fees

A portion of Ospite Bee’s platform fee is used to fund Bee Points, our loyalty and reward system.

  • Bee Points do not reduce host payouts
  • Bee Points are not cash
  • Bee Points are earned through positive participation, such as completed stays and reviews
  • Bee Points can be redeemed as discounts on future bookings

Bee Points are designed to reward good behaviour and long-term engagement, not to penalise hosts.

No Hidden Charges

Ospite Bee does not:

  • Add last-minute fees
  • Change commission rates without notice
  • Penalise hosts for enforcing house rules
  • Charge guests extra platform fees
