Ospite Bee Refund Policy

1. Marketplace Role of Ospite Bee

Ospite Bee is an online marketplace that connects guests and hosts.
Ospite Bee is not the owner, operator, or provider of listed accommodations.
Each listing is independently owned and managed by the host.
Refund eligibility is primarily determined by the host’s cancellation policy.

2. Host Cancellation Policies

Each listing includes a cancellation policy selected by the host.

This policy determines:

  • Whether a refund is available
  • The amount refundable
  • The timeframe for cancellation
  • Guests must review the cancellation policy before booking.

By confirming a booking, you agree to the host’s cancellation terms.

3. Guest Cancellation

If a guest cancels a booking, refunds will be processed according to the host’s cancellation policy.
Refunds, where applicable, will be returned to the original payment method via Stripe.

Processing times may vary but typically take:

  • 5 to 10 business days

Ospite Bee is not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment providers.

4. Host Cancellation

If a host cancels a confirmed booking:

The guest will receive:

  • A full refund of the booking amount.
  • including any Ospite Bee service fees paid.
  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method.

5. Service Fees

Ospite Bee may charge service fees to guests and/or hosts.

Service fees are:

  • Refundable if the booking is cancelled by the host
  • Refundable if required under applicable law
  • Otherwise non-refundable once the booking is confirmed

6. No-Shows

If a guest fails to check in and does not cancel, refunds will be handled according to the host’s cancellation policy.

Ospite Bee does not guarantee refunds for no-shows.

7. Disputes Between Hosts and Guests

If a dispute arises, Ospite Bee may review the circumstances and assist in facilitating communication.

However, Ospite Bee does not guarantee refunds and is not obligated to provide compensation.

Final decisions may depend on:

  • Host cancellation policy
  • Evidence provided
  • Payment provider rules

8. Payment Processing

All payments and refunds are processed securely via Stripe.
Ospite Bee does not hold funds directly.

Refund timing may vary depending on:

  • Stripe processing times
  • Banking institutions

9. Exceptional Circumstances

In limited situations, Ospite Bee may, at its sole discretion, issue refunds outside of the host’s cancellation policy, including but not limited to:

  • Fraudulent listings
  • Platform errors
  • Legal requirements

Ospite Bee is not obligated to provide refunds in such cases.
